Did I read a post here a while back about somebody making rear frams rail sections? Do they work on the PU? Mine is gone from the back of the cab to the tailgate. This might be hotrod material if it needs a back half.

If your pickup is that bad, get a frame from a car and add 7 inches to it.

or subtract 7 from the bed

the extra length is (of course) in the front part of the bed. it was 5 inches, the rest of the frame to frame length difference is in front of the door in the lower cowl/firewall area.

The shop manual shows the photos of the frame and gives measurements to show the differences between the 121" & 128" wheelbase frames.

And doesn't the 128" WB have an additional set of running board supports?
