Recently had a '69 Buick Deluxe givin to me by my grandmother, lol, its one of those you hear about, parked in the garage, 60k original miles.

Anyways, with the exception of a faded hood and roof, paint is pretty good, though first thing I will do is get a paint job, no, or very little surface rust, and what there was I took out pretty easy, no cancer, with the expection of a worn out floor mat, cracked stearing wheel (in one place), faded arm rests, the interior is pretty great also.

Has the old straight six in it, 250 I believe, 3 on the tree, runs like a top.

Anyways is it worth anything at all? If so, I, a. might park it, b. might sell it.

If it isn't worth much, will probably just keep the sucker and drive it myself.

Any ideas or suggestions would be great, I know it looks like the old Skylarks, and would be nice to dump a bunch of cash into it and make it a rod of some sort, but I cannot do that, kinda clueless..

Peace and thanks for any comments, RCCraig

A car is worth what someone is willing to pay for it. It apparently has no or little meaning to you if you are willing to part with it.

You don't mention if the car is a 2 or 4 door.

Ya thanks for that, hmm, lovely advice, lol.

But no it doesn't mean a heck of alot, didn't know her, I cannot do what should be done to it, and have know zero about old cars, hence the post, figures a rude answer would be what I get, oh well, it was worth the try, just park it in the garage and let it set, peace.

and it was a 2 dr.

Sorry if I come across rude. I just have a problem with people that come here to ask how much a car is worth and don't give any real information or the real condition of the car. Much research needs to be done to give an accurate answer to a question like that. Also without seeing at least a picture of the car it's impossible to even get close to an answer.

The real pain is that they come here for the quick and easy answer then never come back again.

Have a lovely holiday

If I'm wrong......... and I have been a few times......... I am always willing to admit that I made a mistake. If others see something wrong with advice that I gave that is incorrect, I will appologize for my mistake and learn from it. My intent is not to be a smart A$$ but to help people that I think I can help.

One should never have to worry about telling someone that what they say is wrong. As long as they have the correct information to set things right. I have learned many things here and the other sites that I go to and have been told buy some of the guys in the A.A.C.A. club that I belong to that you have to speak your mind and learn the reality rather then go around with all the wrong facts.

Sorry if I have offended anyone.
