New here to ClassicCar.com and live in South Florida (FtL). Does anybody know of a reputable and reasonable shop where I can get my 59 Coupe De Ville serviced. Thanks in advance to any and all responders!:eek::D

I can't answer this question, but "word of mouth" is the best reference to a good shop. You get this by talking to other owners of old cars in your area, such as members of the local AACA or (even better) a Cadillac-oriented car club (Cadillac-LaSalle is one). If you're not yet a member of such a club I'd suggest you join; they tend to be an invaluable clearinghouse for technical information and in finding parts.

Like a lot of us old car people do or have done, you could start educating yourself about the goings on of your vehicle so that you can do some minor servicing yourself and atleast know what's happening down under. Trouble shooting/diagnosing of problems is the thing to get familiar with.
Buy yourself some automotive/Cadillac workshop manuals for Christmas. They will have trouble shooting sections in them.:)
P.S. This could save you some money in the long run
