I have a 72 Nova Street/strip car with a 454 that I just bought. It has an open vented fuel cell in lieu of the gas tank. I want to install a fuel vapor canister system at least to the tank to make the car a little more garage friendly. Has anyone done that? If so what components did you use and how did you hook them up?

To do this you will need at least the following.
Charcoal Canister
Liquid-Vapor Serparator
Non-Vented gas cap
Fuel tank that will allow for all the hoses to be attached as needed.
Vapor line
If you need to see a system, I can e-mail you set up for a 1970 Chevrolet. Or one for a 1971-72 Chevrolet.
Chrysler probably had the most simple set up in 1973-74.
Let me know

Ron: Please email both Chevy set ups and the Mopar, if you have it to chuck.johnston@mwsu.edu. Thanks.
