Anybody out there know where I can get my hands on the rubber that goes between the fenders and the grille? Mine's 71 years old and brittle as glass.
I'll call Kgap tomorrow, but I don't see it in the catalog...

Slim, go to ebay and look for FENDER WELT,--also FENDER WELTING---several there.--this stuff comes in rubber--black coated fabric--and chrome BUD

FYI

Another Choice is Mar-K Restoration where I bought my '37 fender welting webmaster@mar-k.com . I think JC Whitney has it too. Some offer Welting in Colors...

Dennis Carpenter sells it with a Stainless 'Bead' which is like original Hudson

K-gap should have what you're looking for, Dany's got a 36!

Regular fender welting is too narrow. This is a thick rubber welting, I believe the round part has a serrated pattern.

K-Gap lists it on their on-line catalog as:

Grille Shell rubber welting
1936-38 AIl - Grille Shell rubber welting
PRICE: $15.00

Their on-line store is at:
