350 Chevy oil viscosity question

Does anyone have a suggestion as to what is the best engine oil and viscosity to use for a 350 chevy (400hp) high performence engine? Thx!

Trouble is you'll get as amny opinions as there are people who answer. Some will say you should use synthetic. Others will say use only a certain brand.

Part of it depends on your climate but any decent 10W30 or 40 should be fine.
