i just posted this in hotrods side sorry, but i bought this car yesterday and need help identifying it, i had to buy 4 of them to get the one i was after(a 63 olds hearse) pluss i wasnt going to let these find their way to the crusher.ANY help would be appreciated thanx.:cool:ln

I'm not an expert in the newer Hudsons but it appears to be a '51. Best way to tell is to give us the serial number (it's either on the passenger's front door post or on the firewall, I think).

yep on the passenger side door post. tenatively looks to be a '51-'52 Commodore

One thing we're sure of though, it's not a '53 Super Wasp Convertible.:D

Kid, The front horsecollar started in 1951. Was used up to 53. Rear horsecollar was started in 52. Was used until 54.

Looks Like The Identifying Name Plates Are Still On The Front Fenders, It Is A 51 Commodore As The Guys State, If The Emblems Are Unreadablle, Lift The Hood And See If It Is A 6 Or 8 Lol, Bill Albright

it has a 6 in it the badge says commodore 6

It's a '51. What more do you want to know? Look at the badges on the front fenders and it will say Commodore Six or Commodore Eight.
