Ron Fellows does these: http://www.geocities.com/hudsonclutchman/

Doug Wildrick used to, and might still have some parts for sale: www.vintageautorestoration.com

Your car is either a Super Six, or a Commodore. Different models. A "Commander" is a Studebaker.

Mike welcome to the Hudson World. Despite the fact our favored auto marque has been out of business for 52 years there are a surprising number of folks you can turn to for assistance and support in keeping your Hudson running safe and properly. The infomation you seek is shown below. I will also send you a personal message as I have two OEM clutch discs for sale which should fit your application.

Mike,

You might want to check out the 1948-1949 (480-490) Group Parts Book I scanned. Greg Maroney put it on his web site for me. You can find it @:

http://www.hudsonterraplane.com/tech/tech_index.htm

You can either scroll down to "1948" or go to Edit in the tool bar, click on "Find on this page" (or Ctrl-F) and type iin "Clutch Plate" in the search box.
(There's a great picture of the clutch plates in the Clutch Section).

The parts book tells you a 10" clutch with 12 outer and 3 inner springs is used on all models. Along with a lot of other great info.

Hudsonly,
