This car has been posted before here. I like it alot- original interior, original paint, original owner. About as nice unmolested as you can get after 50 years. I would have thought some good offers would have been thrown his way by now. Would like to have it in my garage.

Obviously, the reasons why it has not sold could be color, model, location, price, or condition. It could also be the sour economy since the cars which are selling seem to be those of interest to the well heeled, like muscle cars. Personally, I can't past the color combo. Still, they're only original once. If you would like to have it, maybe you could pick it up for a more reasonable price.

Color twin to my 53 Jet. Too bad I'm fresh outta $16,500. LOL

16k seems a bit steep if you ask me, especially for a common 4 door sedan. A coupe? Brougham? ...now we're talking.

You must spend a good bit of your time petting a cat against the grain. Just in case you are interested. There is no way I would let my 52 sedan go for the price that he is asking. Your intense level of insult is well felt here today!!!16k seems a bit steep if you ask me, especially for a common 4 door sedan. A coupe? Brougham? ...now we're talking.

I think it's a very reasonable price. That seems to be the going rate these days.

I know the owner of this car personally and he is a top notch mechanic. He did work on my '50 C8 when I was getting it back together and he is a perfectionist with lots of old car experience. This car is a top notch runner. The fellow he works for owns a '49 C8 that has been in his family for 30+ years. I wish I had the money to buy it but right now it is not in the cards.

Would the blue interior be correct for that color exterior? I know my red car has a red wheel and ivory knobs. I don't know step downs that well but the interior color doesn't look right to the exterior.

Green....completely possible color combination. As I said before my 53 Jet came with the same colors inside and out.

Looks blue on my computer. Green would be easier to understand. My dash is green, it just didn't seem like blue was right.
