You know, it always shocks me when someone throws an ad up on E-Bay with 3 or 4 small, fuzzy pictures, tells you nearly nothing about the product, and is trying to get thousands of dollars for it. It's about 100 times worse when they're asking 85,000. Presentation goes a long way.

Better take more and better pics for 85 grand. Making claim it is all original and unrestored. I doubt that is original paint, if so it held up well for 79 years.

Here's a question for the Essex people of the club. Now there maybe only 5 1929 Boattails remaining in todays club. But How many did Hudson build in 1929? Surely Hudson did not buil so few to make it worth while their effort. Does anyone really know the answer? I would like to know. Rich Smithen

I will get him his 85K when he sends me the schedule for when he is going to do the complete restoration of the car. Soon as I get that I will make the "good investment"

Seems to me that for an asking price of $85k, least they could do would be to provide some decent & complete photos... But, that's just my opinion -

Let me see, one at the national last year, one being restored in California, one being restored down under and this one. If only 5 remain--where is the other one? And what about the one I saw last year that was fully restored... I get so confused by the numbers that these folks throw out. I do have to admit that it sure looks like a nice ride. I wonder if he has a top/did they have one? and I am sure that the new old stock hub caps are hanging on the wall behind the car? Nice car though...

There was a car like this from Maine that was on ebay about 2 years ago for a starting bis of 50k. If this is the same car(probably is) then some work has been done on it since then. It was all one color blue then. The 29 Boattails are very rare with only 5 or 6 known. There are no existing records for total 29BT production. As for 27's there are about 35-40 or so around that we know about.
