Dave Kostansek had a twin-h linkage on Ebay sell for $455! How bad could things be if people are willing to pay that much for just the linkage? Dave has a great reputation for selling quality parts, but that seems high even even if it was NOS. Am I way off base on this?

I'm still amazed that no one has reproduced this item.

Hmmm, and its missing the bell crank that goes on driver's side of the block too. I have some of those laying around. If I don't find work soon, I'll put them on ebay.

I am just happy that I do not need one. I do not remember what I paid for my Twin-H but I know it was a lot less than what they sell for today..

Dave didnt set the price. The nuts who bid up to the $455.00 did. In all my dealings with Dave he has been fair and sguare.

Buyer must have really wanted the item. Ah, the beauty of an auction....

Good point - it's a fairly simple set up, just get the bends correct. Shouldn't take long to put a set out. If I were still in the Coast Guard with access to the tools, I could do that.

That's exactly right. It's the dummy on the other end that paid an exorbitant amount for just the linkage. I get dumb too, occasionally and have, on a number of occasions paid WAY too much for Hudson parts. But not the stratospheric range that someone paid for linkage.
