View Full Version : Champion "J-??" has 3/8" of threads; 2 questions

I want the correct heat (10, I think) range plug, but with a thread depth of ONLY 3/8", rather than the 1/2" depth. Anyone know the correct plug for the 308?

The hotter H11 or H12 (would have to look it up) IS available through CarQuest warehouse, but I use H10Cs in both my Hudson Hornets with 308s.

This is a 7X engine (308 + .060") with a 232 head including exhaust valve reliefs milled into the head for clearance, and the stock spark plug is too long.

I'm told a Champion J10 or J11 will work fine. Maybe Car Quest has them; I'll check. /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/cool.gif
