Does anyone have a source for the charging circuit "cutout relay" or "circuit breaker" for a 1935 Terraplane Special. I found a copy of the original owner's manual which shows a charging circuit marked "without regulator". The diagram shows a circuit breaker. This is the part I need.

I don't know where you get a cutout relay for a Terraplane. But I believe that one from a Ford Model A would work since all it does is open the points if the current reverses though the cutout relay. That is the battery tries to charge the generator.

TP, When your car is running does the tell-tale light on the dash remain lighted?

tjfxmk, it you're running the simple cutout relay, you can connect that tele-light wire to the terminal on the cutout where the generator output wire goes, and the light will work OK.
