I am in need of a source for two of those bar washers (for lack knowing the right name) that keep the nuts from coming off the u-bolts used on the U-Joint that is found at the tail of my transmission.
If I take them to a good parts store would they be able to find something or do I need one of our Great Hudson Parts People?

If you want them for originality's sake, just about any of the folks who deal in used parts would probably have a set of these lying around. But you can just use good lock washers instead with no problem.

If you still have issues finding this (they appear to be called "U-Joint locking plates"), contact this guy -
jason@theujointstore.com
www.theujointstore.com (http://www.theujointstore.com)
"Yes, I have those. Measure center of bolt hole to center of bolt hole so I can determine which ones you have. Thanks, Jason"
I have not ordered or used them, and have no idea as to cost. If anyone does business with Jason, please update this thread.

Thank you for the replies.
All information has been added to my ever growing list of Tips, Tricks and Techniques.
I am still soaking and cleaning parts so that they can be shipped off to the appropriate Hudson repair vendors.
