hello everyone. there seems to be some misunderstanding. i am looking for a good 1931 head. to date i have had one reply from a guy who has a 1930. it wont work the holes are different for the water. he offered it to me at a very reasonable price but i am not one to buy parts someone else can use when i can't. i was accused of not wanting to pay the price for one that was offered to me!
i am here to say whom ever you are who offered me a 1931 head and i turned it down because of price please contact me show me the head and i will pay the price! i need one desperately as long as it is a 1931 head.
if anyone can help please dont hessitate to contact me at

Carl Weber sells a lot of parts for the older Hudsons...have you talked to him? (He's in the HET roster and advertises in the WTN).

can you post a picture of the head you want? maybe there is one in a club members stash that the owner doesn't know what it fits. I know a junkyard guy here that has at least 20 Hudson heads sitting on a shelf, and only 3 of them are from stepdown era. if I had a picture, maybe I could find one in his pile. Hang in there. It will turn up.

Bob, got 2 inquires out for you, you were going to confirm the serial number if there is 1 on the head, I spoke to a person here and they thought they had 1 and were going to look for it for you, if there was some IDs on the head to make sure, as a long way to send for nothing, these people arnt the fastest out of the blocks but they do come back aventually
