Italia Sells for 275K at Amelia Island

Not sure if someone posted this info yet but the Italia offered last month sold for 275K.

Another auction article stated that the market was down approx 25%. This ofcourse will not apply to certain cars....

The 1927 Hudson with the supercharged 308 sold for $198,000 at the same auction. Nice car and I'm sure it sold a couple of years back for a lot less than this.

guess I "blew it" as could have bought several Italias in L. A. which were nicer than that one was at the time, for 2% or less of that price, and the X-161 as well!
But $4-5000 was a lot of $$$ 40 years ago whereas it's "chicken feed" today, LOL!
