Hood Ornament

Hi Hudson Dave here Before i trade it off I thought i should give a HET member a shot at it . I have a NOS hood Ornoment for a 1938 Hudson . After the chrome guy destroyed my other one:eek: . I am going to trade for one that is valued at $120.00 . If some one needs it I would rather see it go to someone who needs it then someone to resell . Thanks Hudson Dave 352-564-4284

I thought you said you have been doing your own chrome work for a long time(?), as per your reply in another thread on repair of pitted chrome parts. Or did you mean you do your own prep work, then send out for the plating? How did the plater manage to destroy the ornament? Kenneth

Hi Ken as i said in an earlier post THIS WAS NOT MY CHROME GUY . My partner in HET Parts did a web page for this guy and he owed him money and he talked me into sending it to him to recover some of his money. That is how it got destroyed . When i showed it to my guy all he said was why did you do that? :eek: Just stupid i guess:( Hudson Dave
