I've nearly completed restoring the front end on the '52. I noticed there is a rubber dust boot or bushing that goes between the spindle and the upper and lower A-arms. What have some of you done for this piece of rubber? I've looked on my sedan, but they are too far gone to identify what they used to look like. I had Dave K. send me all the rubber for the front end, but nothing for the ends of the spindles came in his pkg.
I cut 1" pieces of rubber tubing to go on the support arms for the opposite sides (big sides) of the A-arms, but the question above refers to the "small" end of the A-arms.

I recall someone saying that they used rubber crutch tips for this application.

It is marked A1-27 in the drawings. I just took some photos, but that is the correct part. Is this just the 1" long x 1" diam. tubing, the same as A1-26's and A1-13's in prev. drawing? Really doesn't appear to be much room for a 1" long bit of tubing, but y'all tell me. Check photos below.

I believe these are 3 different size or they would be the same part number.

It looks like he is referring to part number A1-18. I would also like to find a source for the rubber o-rings.

Yes, looking for A1-18's and A1-27's or dimensions so that I can manufacture if need be. Check photos above.
