Received from Bill Albright -

PICS OF THE 34 HUDSON BELOW BELONG TO FELLOW CLUB MEMBER TONY MALLARD AND WIFE LYNETTE FROM NEW ZEALAND. THEY SHIPPED THIS CAR FROM N.Z TO LONG BEACH CAL. FLEW HERE PICKED IT UP AND STOPPED AT VINTAGE COACH, WHERE WE CHECKED IT OUT - ALL IT NEEDED WAS SOME AIR IN THE TIRES. THEY PLAN ON DRIVING IT ALL OVER THE STATES AND WINDING UP AT THE NATS IN DETROIT, THEN DRIVE BACK TO CAL AND SHIP IT HOME. THE CAR IS A TREASURE AS THEY GOT MARRIED IN IT OVER 40YEARS AGO. AS I SAY, WE SERVICE HUDSONS FROM ALL OVER HERE AT VINTAGE COACH.

That is exceptional. If they are heading to the Columbia River Gorge, WA or OR send them my way I could probably put them up for a night.

how wonderful - I'll bet they're having a ball! I'm jealous, LOL.
Sure looking forward to seeing the car & meeting them, being a big fan of the Hudson 8.
I'm now in Ireland but will be in England for the ROC National Meet next weekend then home.
I wonder if they are going to join one of the "caravans" going to Detroit?

For the record Tony's surname is Mallard not Miller.

The lights that are mounted on the front bumper are they for signal lights
if so that could be a problem with the cops as they should be orange?

It's a personalised plate, same colour as the standard ones lots of people here have them on their car.
