SO:

There's a 53 Hornet four-door for sale less than a hundred miles from me, but it's really rusty but complete; a parts donor.

and

There's (the shell of) a 52 Pacemaker/Wasp Brougham not so far away. It's really rusty too, but it's a SWB Brougham.

If I get and strip the LWB, what will, and won't, fit on SWB?

R/ Roger.

I would look for a rust free donor....

Roger pretty much everything from the firewall back will interchange(Although the actual firewall itself is unique to each car). The engines will interchange but the brake shoes and drums won't. The steering is different on each car. Bumpers and grill will interchange. Fenders and hood won't. Rockers are unique to each car. You have your work cut out. Harry's suggestion might not be so bad.

Yup, the old Pacemakers and the 4B Pacemakers are the only ones that
had the 1 3/4 brakes in front. Wasps, Commadores and Hornets all had the 2 1/4 brakes in front.

All had 1 3/4 in the rear.

Thanks for the education! Makes sense Wasp has a bigger motor= bigger brakes. Which means the 51 S6 Brougham (262) that I just brought home has 2 1/4" brakes right?

That is correct. All stepdowns except the Pacemakers had 2 1/4 brakes.
