Sorry I was slow Brownie, the pictures you sent were great I got them lost in a spam email folder. I would upload them now but you beat me to it.

The easiest way to do it is upload to the photo gallery here on Classiccar.com then link to that picture. When done in this fashion the pictures are resized automatically.

My vote as far as finish work done on the dash. This is the way to go. Do not stress about, is it perfect or not, the original dash looks fantastic with a little character. The imperfections which are slight at best make it believable.

Todd

ps if you need any more uploaded I can probably go a little faster now.

Everybody does things their own way... For me, I try to get the picture down to 800 x 600 (easier viewing)
with MS Office Picture Manager, which usually decreases the size enough to get it on the thread.

From there, the picture has to be 'hosted' in some way. This can be done by putting it on your own site
(if you have an internet site), or putting it somewhere on an internet site that allows hosting pictures - then
add the photo to the appropriate thread.

ClassicCar has at least three methods for hosting photos:

- You can attach the picture via the advanced 'Reply to Thread',
- You can can put the picture into a ClassicCar gallery, then insert it;
- You can upload it to a special place within ClassicCar that is specifically for this purpose ( http://www.classiccar.com/upload.php );

Here is a thread on posting, as a refresher. It doesn't go into detail on reducing the size of the photos,
which although pretty easy can be a bit more difficult to explain.
