Buying a 351w...Want some tips.

Hi, there im new to this forum and to cars so if anyone can help me out...that would be great!
Ok ... so i have a 67 xr7 cougar w/ a 289 and im gonna put a 351w in it. I need to know the extra things im gonna have to buy to make this hunk of metal burn....like suspension, or any brackets, anything on power steering. Anthing of that sort.
Also....im wanting to put a good exhaust system on this baby. Whats the best brand to buy from to get the deepest LOUDEST growl that I can get. Without pulling a grand out of my wallet.
If anyone could help me out that would be great!

I would reccomond getting upgraded springs because they were real soft from the factory, mabye 620's up front and a 5 leaf spring in the rear. As far as exuast, what im going to do is put it out the side in front of the rear tires, it will have a megaphone exuast tip, making it loud!!! I have the Flo-tech Terminator mufflers (because i am tired of hearing flowmaster) at wide opean throttle they are a little over 120DB, 120db will set car alarms off a block away, and piss of the nieghbors.
