Just found a 1929 Jordan sedan in a shed. Does anyone have any info about these cars? Never heard of them. Looks like a big, expensive car.

Any knowledge would be greatly appreciated. I know more about Mustangs and full sized Jeeps. Classic cars of the 20s are not my specialty.

From 1916 to 1931, the Jordan Motor Co., based in Cleveland, produced some 65,000 vehicles. Today, only 100 of the Jordan vehicles are in operating condition. So your shed vehicle is rather rare, though that does not necessarily translate to enormous value. A lot would depend upon the condition of the car. If it's rusted through and falling apart, it would have some value to a Jordan collector who desperately needed parts. If it's 100% there and fairly solid, it would obviously have more value. If you can get it for a song I'd say, take a chance and go for it. If you're not into restoring cars this old, then put an ad in a large-circulation antique auto magazine like Hemmings Motor News, and sell it. Someone will want it.
