Dodge auto tranns question..

Hey all, Im new here and was hoping someone could answers some qustions for me. I have a late 60's early 70's 318 and an auto trans in my 1962 Sportsman Pug Van and the question is, what trans do I have? I ask becouse its an auto but I can pop start it like a manual. I was wandering what tranny this is and what it may be worth! Any infor would be greatly appricated!

if that tranny is a cable shifter then it was made from 65 and earlier--you can push start it because it has a front and rear pump----the later trans have a lever shifter and use only a front pump hence no push starting---if your trans has a slip yoke output (1965 only) it might be worth a couple hundred to someone that wants the rear housing output shaft to update a big block trans---if you had a bigblock 1965 trans it could be worth around a grand to someone cloning a 64-65 hemi race car---bob
