I have a 1968 440 out of a 68 chrysler new yorker. It is stripped down. My question is how much can i ask for a stripped down block and set of heads. I stripped it down years ago with dreams of rebuilding it but I've come to terms with myself that its never going to happen. No money no time and no space. I am completely clueless as to what to ask for it. If someone could give me an idea of how much, it would be much appreciated.

I paid $750 for a '69 440 that has a complete performance rebuild with over $4K in receipts. I also sold a '68 383 bare block for a C-note. Bought another bare '71 440 block that had been bored .030 over, and came with new in-the-box eight TRW pistons for $140. All in the last six months.
If the heads and block have never been worked and are not corroded or beyond rebuilding, I'd go maybe $150, assuming the caps are still in place and the heads are complete. To me, that's all I'd give for them.
How's that?
