Old salvage yard Liquidation

I just found out this morning that an old salvage yard located in Naruna, VA is selling off all the old cars they have. Naruna is 1/2 an hour south east of Lynchburg on US 501 south. The yard has been closed about 6 years since the owner passed away. His widow is getting rid of all the old cars at the same price, $150.00 per car. I went thru the yard with a friend about 2 months ago. There were around 1200 cars there then. The newest model I was able to spot was a 1982 or 83 Dodge Diplomat. The yard was started in 1940 and I really don't think they ever had a car crushed. To give you an idea of whats there I know I counted at least 4 late 50's or early 60's Rambler ragtops, close to 2 dozen 59 & 60 swept wing fin Chevy's(all body styles), Satellites, GTX, Galaxies,Chevelles, Dusters, Studes, Suicide door Mercs, Flathead 49 & 50 Fords, Beetles, Imps, Lincolns, and Caddys. A great majority of the cars were complete or only missing a few items. Some were typical junkyard crapola but there were so many diamonds in the rough I couldn't believe it. I'll try to get more info for a posting but if anyone know anymore about it please contact me. The stuff in this yard is a real automotive resource. :eek:

I got down to the yard this afternoon and the owner was handing out waivers and cans of spray paint to mark what you bought for $150.00.
There are only a few decent choices left and they have pulled almost all the motors that were worth looking at. There are still afew good choices if you are looking for trim pieces. The only really interesting fairly complete cars are a few orphans, Ramblers and Studebakers. Sorry about any bubbles I might have burst but I just got my info a little late.
