Need some help, 37' Strato Chief

Hey. I've just bought a 1937 Pontiac Strato Chief that I plan on restoring but I wanted to get some background info on it first. Problem is, is that I can't find any anywhere. I'm probably just going to go with a basic restoration but I've been thinking about going for a more street rod touch to it. If anyone has any info, tips, suggestions please help me out.

Sounds like quite an undertaking. I hope that you got a car that is complete because I would bet that the parts that are still around are going to be pricey. I would guess that it's just a model designation like Star Chief. I am interested to know the model number though
