Having some trouble determining what my grandfather's 65 Galaxie 500 is worth. It is a 2-door hardtop with a 352. It has 41K miles. I think it is fully original. There is minor surface rust on the body, a dent in the trunk and rust on both bumpers. The engine runs pretty well but definitely needs work (lots of rust). Car has sat unused and unstarted for 28 years until recently. Engine was worked on about 13 years ago but car was only driven 5-10 times since. Interior is in decent shape. Vinyl is faded a bit, no cuts in seats, small cut on door. I figure it is worth about 2500-3000. My uncle is asking 7000. Can someone help me? Trying to get pictures.
