Listing says this one has never been rebuilt...
If its true - I wouldn't even restore it - Make her run and drive and show!

Saw this... Yep, 'tune it up', clean it up - what a fun ride it would be! :D
Too bad I don't have about a 3-5 acre garage (and an unlimited bank account...:(). Wait - Maybe I can get Jay Leno to 'sponsor' me? LOL!
BTW - There are a lot of suspension parts for a '27 on ebay right now, from a single source -

On the money, tune 'er up and go! That seat pattern is interesting, wonder if it would clean and what color it originally was. Hopefully the buyer will be HET and let us know!

That would be a sweet ride to keep as-is, drive and enjoy! Shame it's so far away!

Nice to see another 1927 Essex. I have one I restored in 2004, 2 door coach. Took a lot of work, but I am very proud of the way it runs and looks. Won first place in the Antique division of the Lawton,Ok Rodeo Parade and 1st place (Old School division) Temple, Ok car show. Pictured in July/August of WTN, page 19 at Alma, Ark.
For further information I can be reached at rnbsims@cottoninternet.net.
