I need a part for my '25

Hey guys,

I'm not sure what the exact part name is, but there is a pair of gears that are attached to the end of the steering column below the steering box. They are controlled by 2 levers on the steering wheel, and they control the timing advance and the high idle on the car.

I managed to break the one that is used on the high idle. I've tried numerous times to repair it, but to no avail. I wondering (hoping) that someone might have one (or the pair) that they would be willing to part with (no pun intended.)

If you have one, or know of any leads, I would appreciate it. I'll probably also be sending an email to Carl Weber later this week to see if he has any.

Ivan La Juenesse, from Kelowna, B.C. had these gears reproduced at one stage. Look him up in the roster and give him a call. Sorry I don't have his address details. I have had r.h.d. gears made, but they won't fit your car.

Well, that didn't work out very well! The email address for Ivan in the roster is not valid. Anyone know his current email address? (BTW...the one in the roster is dilajuenesse@telus.net) And, I can't post to the Yahoo group until my membership is approved. Ah well, time to practice some patience (which, if practiced initially, I probably wouldn't be searching for the part ;) )

If I can't find Ivan's email address, I'll have to try to give him a call later this week.
