I am looking for a source for a drivers side door latch on a 1966 chevrolet Impala 2 door hard-top, can anyone HELP ME?

Was your door stuck shut when the latch went out? I have a 79 Z-28 that the drivers door latch went out. I'm tired of going in and out from the pass side. If it was shut when it went out how did you get it open?
