While reading through some of my old WTNs I ran across George Schmidt's articles on Hudson accessories. One that he described in a '87 issue is the Hill Holder (dealer installed) option for '40 - '50 Hudson's (maybe longer he was not sure). Of course the Hill Holder aka NoRol units from Bendix were a well known option on Studebakers until the very end but I never knew, and George did not either until he did the research, that Hudson offered it as well. I have never seen one, so does anyone out there have one of these installed? It is really a neat item. George also reprinted the Dealer installation directions! I am sure one could still install one if so inclined!
