I think what Sam was saying, was that you have to add Earthlink.net to the end of fortyqtpi@ in order to send the e-mail. (it's a way of defeating the 'spam robots' that constantly patrol the internet in a hungy search for complete e-mail addresses, for their nefarious purposes...)

Asked him to send one to my friend. He has a 37 Terraplane Doodlebug. What a beast. Front tranny is 37T, rear tranny is 5 sp Ford Truck, rear is Dodge with military wheels, no springs. He's getting ready to retire from teaching and we're gonna
rebuild the motor. We got it going, but it sounds like a thrashing machine
