If you rate the car as a #6 then I would think it's not anywhere near the right price of #10,900

Bubbles means that the surface below them is not in good shape and will probably need extensive metal work or replacement. The question is, how many places have these bubbles and exactly where are they located? i.e. a good place for debrise to get trapped is in the lower section of the front fender just behind the wheel opening. Rot through there will mean a patch panel needed or another fender.

Small holes in floor become large holes in floor. More then likely you will need new floor pans which can be expensive if you are having it done and tough work if you are doing it.

You say, "frame is solid, one minor patch" does this mean that the frame has been patched? If so be weary of the straightness of the frame depending on the type of patch and size. Why was it patched?

Be cautious when buying cars that have had work like this done. Some people can make a silk looking purse out of a sows ear.

Without actually seeing the car, it's tough to give an opinion on price.

Good luck if you buy it.

I'd say pass. As the saying goes(go west young man) there are some nice GTO's in the west that are reasonable and rust free. You just need to keep looking. A clone is just that a clone and not worth what the real thing is worth. Sounds like you will be in deep before you even get started with this car. Best of luck.
