Hello guys, im new here, i was wondering if it is possible to get help with renewing cars. Few days ago i saw an awesome car. The owner says its GM RANGER 17D. Its 1972 year's manufacture, he says that only 50 were made, he asks the price of about 1500E. but its needs some serious repairs. I have no really good knowledge about engine repair... but i do want to restore that car, to repair and restore by hand... also 2 windows arre broken.. the seat material is quite trashed up...the exterior have bruises and cracks, a big hole by the rear wheele, the rust came out and somebody kicked- so there is a hole now... are there people who could tell more about repairing and bringing back to life that wonderfull car? and please guys, if u have some information, or links of/about this car, please post.

BIGGGGGGEST THANKS

I've worked GM parts since 1973 and have never heard of a GM RANGER 17D. What is it?

dbl, this is an Opel Ranger. I don't think any of these cars were sold in NA.

thanx guys, for any help. well dbldcb this car is in europe, but i couldnt find a part of the forum dedicated to european classic cars, so i posted it in manufacturers (at least i think so) thread...

as i have found out now, this GM ranger might be some version of Opel Comandore, only the ranger was exorted (made) for african market(???) or something this way.
