What's going on, everyone. My dad has a 1960 Biscayne that he bought from his grandfather for $1 back in '80 whenever they wouldn't renew his license. Growing up (i'm 24 now) my dad promised me that the car would be mine. Well to make a long story short, its rusted to hell now and hasn't been cranked up in around 15 years. I'm trying to get on him to rebuild it, but neither of us know where we can get parts for it. The body is shot but i believe the frame is good to go. Does anyone know a good place (web or offline) that sells Biscayne parts? Any info/suggestions would definitely help out...this will definitely be a good project for us to spend more time together, plus this car means alot to him because it was his grandfather's. Thanks alot guys.

Sounds like a really good project. Two and four door sedans may not be as popular to some people but they are gaining ground with many. They are the real cars that many have grown up with. Seems like you'll be doing some good bonding with your dad, and that is a good thing.

I would also like to suggest that you look into joining a local Chevy club or the local A.A.C.A. so that you will have many that are able to help you out with their experience, plus they will have many good places to get parts either new or used.

As far as vendors go, here are a few:
carsinc.com
impalaparts.com
impalas.com
classicindustries.com
fillingstation.com
yearone.com

Another thing you may want to look into is joining the guys at chevytalk.com
I learn something every day from these guys and they are always willing to help out.

Best of luck with the car and keep us posted or post up some pictures.
