Located in Saugerties, NY. This one is somewhat more than just a 'project'...

OK, so $600 for a back seat, cowl, and maybe a VIN plate and title. Plus a grand or more to go get it.

I don't need a ragtop that bad.

Wow. This is pretty funny. I kept hearing that there was a Hudson conv in a junk yard near Woodstock, and low and behold there it is. Naturally, the stories led me to believe it was a GREAT parts car and I should go buy it. Yikes. What a mess. About the only thing on there worth saving is the stainless belt mouldings. The qtr windows ones are especially hard to find. I wonder if the one I keep hearing about in South Eastern CT is just as bad as this beast.

I like the way these convertibles fold up in the middle so that one can park easier. Those Hudson engineers were sharp! Niels

I bet there'd be almost nothing left if you put it in an acid dip tank! Though it might be worth the cash to buy it and take bets on what was left after dipping! It would be sort of like watching piranhas in a feeding frenzy!

Looks something like the calibre of the one I posted under "fallen stars" at www.hudsoncollector.com That one sold for about $600.00 Cdn. so I guess there's hope for this one too. In my mind, there's no Hudson not worth saving !! I wish it well. I't be welcome in my back yard, rust and all.

Reminds me of the bacteria that eat away at iron oxide, like the Titanic remains. Yeah, the stainless would be worth saving, and the window frames.

Is there $600 worth of parts and additional cost of getting them to my door? No.

Addemdum to the Ebay Listing, ran when parked, mostly complete only need a bit of work and some tender love to be a great show car. Tires hold air,... (just not a lot) and includes optional flow through ventilation. Only needs a few parts to be complete (like an entire coupe)

SOld as is, where is and if is.

LOL

I'll bet this one is too rough for even Big Paul Large Type

I just watched a show on cable (History/Discovery/TLC) that tried to discern whether the Titanic broke in two on the surface or not. Interesting coincidence.

yeah, percentage wise, there's more metal left of the titanic....

I think this is the kind of hudson project that can separate the real devoted hudson guys....

In actuallity, you would be better off taking a hardtop or coupe and making one...

it would be cheaper...

It's Done!!!!!!! It took a lot of hard work. It is my first restoration!!!! I had to do it without any help. How does it look? It doesn't drive so good but I get a lot of curious lookers.
I am opening a new shop - to do more - mikes photoshop restorations!

Gives new meaning to a "bustle back". Chris Bangle of BMW should take note and possibly alter his "Banglebutt".
