Engine Swap help needed

Long time lurker on the Hudson site. I have a '57 Chevy Nomad that I am streetrodding and would like some help with my engine swap. The Chevy engine is junk and I would like to drop in a Hudson 308 Twin H. Anyone done this? Motor mounts etc. Would like to have top performance.

NO PROBLEM! Take the radiator caps off the Chevy and a Hornet. Drive the Hornet under the Chevy cap. Put the cap on and the swap's done! Works for most brand X's. Walt

Let me understand this right.. . You want to pull a Chevy engine out and put in a Hudson engine?? In a 57 Nomad?? Wow thats one for the books. I guess there IS another side to the ledger book. OK thats one for the Hudson engine into the Chevy and lets see... 927 for the Chevy engine into a Hudson. Well at least it's a start guys. And oh yeah, do we now count this as a Chevy or a Hudson? Hmmmmm. Don't know if we want to open that can of worms yet. Anyway good luck on your swap and you have great taste!
