And I sold my favorite to Senator Howard Baker. A continental kit does wonders for looks and handling of a stepdown. http://home.earthlink.net/~dsollon/public.htm/51c3.jpg

Kit on my 51 was from 1954 Hudson. Frame work is all the same on 48 to 53. You just have to make new pans. You can see framework and pan fabrication at this location, look under our 1951 Hornet convertible. our cars (http://home.earthlink.net/~dsollon/public.htm/ourcars.htm)

Yes, This Is My Favorite One, It Has 23 Accessories. Bought It From T.w. Walt Chapmans Widow In 1988. Walt Was A Personal Friend And A Hudson Dealer From Central Pa. Who Raced Early Nascar. He Sponsered No 120 And Dick Rathman Was His Driver, Check The Racing Record And See How Many Times He Was In The Winners Circle.he Drove It Off The Showroom Floor When The 54s Came Out And Added 54 Power Steering, Some Side Trim And A 54 Cont Kit. I Rode With Him In This Car At The Indianapolis National In The 70s, Around The Indy Race Track, The Decal Is Still On The Windsield. This One Is Not For Sale What A Car Bill Albright

She is a beauty! With the storied history to boot - a definite keeper! Must be fun to drive - do you take her out often?
If you ever do part with it and decided to auction it – it could potentially set some records…stuff of legends type!
Remember the The Satan off Meriman just went for 110k and wasn’t there a couple of converts in ‘05 that went over 100k? I know one was at Pebble Beach…

Bill,
Is that 54 hudson trim on the rear quarters in front of the red? It's really a beauty.
Were you hiding all these beautiful cars when I visited you back in 2001 from CT?
