Not "Hudson" stuff, but indirectly related - The parking pad & work area for my Hudsons...

Concrete parking pad is FINALLY in! Myself & a couple of friends did the first part late last fall, but it got too cold to do the second part of the work. Between work, weather, medical issues, etc., this ended up being the first weekend that we could all 'work it in'. Took most of the day, a lot of 'sweat', & 9 cubic yards of concrete (18 total yards - delivered), but it is in... http://mysite.verizon.net/vzeryru7/sitebuildercontent/sitebuilderpictures/image010.jpg
Now - Privacy fence, some small retaining walls and some landscaping.

A bit later, maybe this spring or early summer - will be the asphalt driveway.

Lookin good Rick! Wish I had more space to work on mine. I am looking at some small 11x12, or 12x12 buildings to make a seudo shop out of.

Rick:

With all that hard work are you going to take a break and take your Hudsons and set up a classy display at the Antique Truck Show at the Inner Harbor in Baltimore over Memorial day Weekend?

Wife is talking about going to Towson for a weekend in June, to see our son. If we do I'll give you a call and maybe we can get togeather for a cup of coffee and swap Hudson stories.

I hadn't heard anything about a Antique Truck Show - Can you PM or email me info or a link on it?

I've planned on taking a couple of vacation days around that time - our first grandchild is due on June 1st, so a lot depends on the stork's schedule, if you know what I mean.

Would like to get together, meet & discuss Hudsons, workshops, etc..
My computer's harddrive failed a few weeks ago, and I lost a lot of my contact information - could you PM/Email me with your contact information?

Spent the better part of the day wetting-down yesterday's concrete pours, and mortising 6x6 fence posts - drill, hammer & chisel. Will probably be spending the better part of the afternoons & this next weekend putting the fence up. I'll try to keep my little website updated, as work progresses.
