The only number I can find on the net is National 47331. Can someone confirm this as correct for '49 Thanks

Are all these readily available? I didn't want to pull the seal to check for a number if its going to take awhile to get.

Call Dave Kostansek, Williamsfield Motors, Number is in the classified section of The WTN or do a search on this forum. I just bought one for my '52, he had them in stock. You could also check with Dale Cooper or Bill albright.

I did a search on the forum and also Ken Cates and Dave Sollons sites and that was the only number I came up with which was for a 51. I was hoping to do the job today while I have access to a lift if the seal is commonly available

take the measurements as per Geoff to your local parts house and he should be able to pull a replacement off the shelve, better than the old spring, leather original, it worked for me. a few years back. Melvin
