I think I saw this on the auction block in 'Fall Hershey' a couple of years ago... I'm probably wrong though.

I believe this is the car owned for many years by H-E-T'er Al Muller, once of Long Island, NY and now of Tennessee. He equipped it with overdrive (thus the column shift conversion) and drove it all over the place. Thus, though it's not totally stock, it is an excellent car for someone who wants to drive it (as opposed to lug it around to shows on a trailer). The Ebay writeup mentions that it's possibly the ''only one''; it might be the only '38 Hudson convertible coupe, but there is at least one other '38 Hudson convertible, the convertible brougham restored in recent years by the late Kelly Hinegardner.

Goes to show how under valued Hudsons have been. One of only a couple left? Its beautiful and worth alot of money in my book.

Folks,
if I had the money I would be jumping in and buying up all of these convertibles that show up. Looking at the way prices are going and considering the low production these are great value and when the wheel spins around to Hudson and the prices start to climb they will be a great deal.
