I have what I believe to be a 1951 automatic transmission out of a 4 door Hudson. The person I got it from indicated he drove the car up and down the driveway before he took the engine and transmission out. I left the combination out in the weather with a piece of tin over it. When I pulled the transmission, what looked like good fluid came out of the torque converter, but water, then fluid drained from the pan. I do now want the transmission or flywheel. I can wait several months and take it to some meet and give it to anyone who wants it for free or give it to anyone who wants to drop buy and get it or whatever. My question is whether or not anyone will be interested in it. If not, I will just trash it, no use keeping it around taking up space or hauling it somewhere.
Second question, the 262 engine it was hooked to had a two barrel carb and manifold on it. Would I do well to use it on my 232 instead of the one barrel set up?
