Speaking of which, has anyone else not received the latest WTN yet? Usually, I've got mine by the third week of the month....it's never been this late before.

Hi,
I signed up for the free magazine a couple of weeks ago. I was wanting to get the form to join the club, and check everything out. I haven't seen anything yet though. I faithfully checking the mailbox daily, but no WTN as of yet.
Morgan
P.S. still on the search for a step down, had some pictures sent to me from bill albright of some very nice cars, but a bit out of my price range. I am looking for a little more of a fix-er-up-er. Keep a eye peeled for me..
Thanks

Morgan,
There are plenty of Stepdowns available. I think if you post a new thread what you are looking for and ballpark how much you want to spend, then it will help us find you one. Niels

So does everyone have their latest WTN?
I've usually gotten mine by now, and am wondering if something happened with my subscription. My membership was set to expire on August 2, but I sent my renewal money and form in at least 5-6 weeks before that, so I wouldn't think that would be it.....
SamJ, would you bring any extra copies of the latest WTN to the Nationals, just in case?
Thanks for the help,
Doug

Hasn't gotten to Maine - yet. But that's not unusual. Lot of postal employees between here and there that like to read it. hehehehe
Heat's probably slowed the horses down a bit, but worth waiting for.

It's Monday, August 7 and I am still breathlessly awaiting delivery of the WTN! As of my recent renewal I'm going FIRST CLASS so should no longer have to spend weeks in anticipation...

I have the WTN delivered to my store...The mailLADY doesn't seem to be interested in old cars. I made the mistake of having Hemmings delivered to my home address. The mailman for the house must like cars, because I only get about 3/4 of those delivered. The other 25% I have to buy at the bookstore.

 Sloop, sloop, sloop...that's WAY too long...it was mailed on July 14. Is central Virginny a postal "black hole?" BTW, I have give-away WTN's for Cadbury's.

Once the mail bags are delivered to the USPS's loading dock, your WTN has left the realm of the HET Club and is in the hands of God (or Satan). You have about as much chance of understanding how the US Postal System works as you do of finding one of the missing Italias, dusty but otherwise pristine, in the widow next door's tumbled-down barn the day after she dies leaving no known heirs.

Oh, we're past mud season - that came just before black fly season. Now that we're past 4th of July, we're into tourist season. Couple more weeks we'll be back to winter. LOL
Seasons here are winter, mud, black fly, 4th of July and tourist. Love tourist season - get to practice for deer season in November. :)

Hi Morgan,
I have a 49 Commodore I've owned since March 2000,that I am wrestling with selling to finance the completion of 50 commodore 8. The 49 is a driver with about 30k on completely rebuilt 262, I've made many trips in this car and have used it everyday off and on this year since the salt left. Went to Indy to Dr. Doug's meet most recent trip. dependable driver. Always starts,I get a kick outa sarting it when the temps are way down, barely turn over but fires right up.
Email for more details. I'm in south-central Mich.
thanks in advance,
Kim
