Carter -776S carb for sale

From an email I rcvd today:

Carter 776-S for sale - $125 . Still in original box. Contact Rene Paturalski @ 269-699-5228. Rene's in Edwardsburg, Mich .

NOTE: I know nothing about the carburetor, - just passing it along for what it's worth - tho it does seem a bit high, or maybe not if it is NOS - he does say it's in the original box.

This carburetor, from my notes, fits 1950-1952 Hudson 6 exc. Pacemaker and Hudson 8 and 1953-1954 Super Wasp and Hornet.
