Holy cow... I looked on Amazon and they ran from $75 to $360
I'm new to Hudsons so forgive me - is this a bible for restorations or something?
Maybe someone ought to find the owner of the book rights and send them this: :D

Actually, I bought mine about a year ago on Ebay, and paid less than $26.00 - including shipping. Be patient and watchful, and you can get them cheap. I've had and seen at least 15-20 opportunities to purchase them cheap in the last year or so...
Just because a few people want to make a 'killing' on selling a book, it doesn't mean it is worth that much. There is one on Ebay that a seller has been trying to 'unload' for $396.00 - for at least 6 months....

Written by a former hudson employee, it is not so much a restoration bible, but a reference bible if not THE reference bible. the book goes through the history from about 1900 to 1957 of the Hudson Company. It gives a year by year account with pictures of many available models and body styles. It is arguably the most complete published account when looking at the life of the company. the pictures are quite usefull for identification.
For technical information, obtaining the Body, Mechanical Procedure and Parts book pertinant to your car's year. In the case of the stepdown era, this info is available in 48-54 versions of the parts book and body manual. Mechanical procedures have holes as they may defer to an earlier year's manual for example the 1950 manual just refers to the 48 manual for engine procedures.
