Biscayne?

Hi there, great site,i live up here in Canada and have recently aquired a 1963 Chev Biscayne 4dr. Iam sure i will have alot of questions as i get the old girl up and running so i will start with a few off the top of my head

what are the differences between the biscayne and all the other similar type full size chev cars? IE, impala?
I received a new windshield with the car, but it is not installed. Has anyone ever tried an at home windshield install? how hard is it? any links or info here would be appreciated.
My car was manufacured in Canada, the vin number is 3126971647
none of the vin decoders recognize this number, any ideas?

Hi, the biscayne was the lowest priced model then came belair and then Impala. The differences were in trim and quality of interiors. I wouldn't try to install the windshield my self take it to a glass place and they can do it for you without wrecking it. I have a 59 belair and with it camr new glass rubber and no way will I attemp to replace it. Just my 2 cents...Jim
