66 Chevy C10 Wiper Problem

Hey,

I have a four terminal windshield wiper. I dont believe that it is the original wiper and wiring harness for my 66 because of the four terminals. All of the wiring diagrams that I have seen for 66's have only two terminals and two wires. But I have four (Darkblue and yellow, black, and light blue and yellow).
I cant find a wiring diagram for all four of these wires. Which ones go where? I know on my 66 diagram I am only saposed to use the light blue and yellow. and the light blue goes on the right side of the the two teeth connector. Any help or direction would be appreciated.

well try searching other wiring schematics for later model c10's. if you aren't the original owner, and i'm assuming that you aren't, your wiper motor may be from a later model c10. by the way, is there any good schematic sights for 60's c10's?? i just got a 60 c10 and its not original in any way shape or form and its an electrician's nightmare. i mean the whole thing needs re-wiring.

I'm going down to the junk yard today. They have a 65 there and I am going to see if they have a harness or a motor that might be acceptable. I use this site for wiring diagrams. http://pages.zdnet.com/64moneypit/id12.html
I also broke down and bought the shop manual for a 66. But as you said, the previous "owners", have cut and spliced the hell out of it. We will see what I come up with.

lol. sometimes doing cross comparisons of other vehicles and parts is just what you need to do. i gotta go and re-wire my turn signals back to the switch in my collumn
