Bill - Why not set it up with the "no runningboard" option. They were available in 1941 with or without RB

If I go no running boards, I need a 4 pice set of moldings plus 2 rear black fender rubber spats. thats 6 pieces. IL only need on emore running board to make it work, what would you do???

I think all these new car "designers" need to look more at cars like our Hudsons
Look at the lines and trim on this car - there is nothing like it on the road today.
Nice job getting all the parts and the work looks outstanding - how long has it been now start to finish? (if they're ever finished :p )

Visit to Bill Albrights
Two weeks ago while in Palm Springs I made a side trip over to Fontana to see Bill. It was the first time I met him and told him I was a long time member of the HET club since 1978. He showed me all his "stuff" and especally the '41convert which now has the upholstery done and is looking great!
I was treated like a long time friend and really enjoyed my visit!!
Bill is one great guy and the HET Club is like one great family.
Thanks for the tour Bill.

Sweet Bill A! Now thats a nice looking convertible. Notice the forehead is not as large as the step-down 'verts...a much better look.

WE ARE READY TO DROP IN 308 WITH REBUILT od, BUT THINK i WILL SANDBLAST THE FILREWALL AND SELECT A FINISH COLOR TO PAINT FIREWALL BEFORE INSTALLING ENGINE, jUST GOT BACK FROM THE SHOW, dID NOT WIN BUT HAD A GREAST TIME, CLASSS WINNERS WERE A 40 slINCOLN zEPHER CONV, 38 bUICK CV WITH DUAL SIDEMOUNTS AND A RUMBLE SEAT, 37 4 DR BJUICK CONV. PRETTY STIFF COMPETITION, SPREAD THE hUDSON WORD AND MADE A LOT OF CONTACTS, FRED ROTH WAS THERE WITH HIS PEBBLE BEACH WINNIN ITALIA, BUT DIDNT STICK AROUND FOR HIS CLASS RESULTS, BEST, BILL A.
