VIN Locations

I know the Vin plate on the bod of a 1963 Impala is on the drivers side door pillar. Can anyone tell me if there is a VIN on the motor or on the Frame and if so where exactly are they.

You should check with all the guys at www.348-409.com and they can probably help you with any question you may have about this car. As the site name indicates, they deal with cars that came with or have had swapped into them, 348 and 409 motors and your '63 could have come with a 409. But they are just a group of guys who seem to know '58 to '65 Chevrolets extremely well, w-motor or not.
